Lemniscate
Version 1.0 · In force since 9 August 2026
Lemniscate is built for private, secure communication. This policy sets out what is not allowed. It applies to all use of the Service provided by Lemniscate Labs LLC and complements our Terms of Service.
You must not use the Service to create, share, request, or facilitate:
Private messages and private groups are end-to-end encrypted, so we cannot read them and do not scan their content. Enforcement of this policy therefore happens in three ways that preserve encryption:
Anyone can report content from inside the app using Report, available on chats, groups, channels, and feed posts. Reports go to our review process. Apparent child sexual abuse material is escalated to the relevant authorities (in the US, NCMEC).
Depending on severity, we may: issue a warning, remove a group or channel from public discovery, suspend an identity from the Service, or report to authorities. Clear, severe violations — in particular CSAM — result in immediate action without prior warning.
If you believe an enforcement action was a mistake, contact [email protected]. We will review the matter. Legal-reporting obligations are not reversed by an appeal.
